New Testament Bible Baptist Church located in Pulantubig Near Mag Say Say Elemen tary School in the Captain T. Amores Estate. We would like to invite you to our Services each Sunday at 9 a.m. and again at 4:30 p.m. Also, we have a Wednesday Night Bible Study at 6:30 p.m. What does the Church mean to you? So many today think of the Church as christening as a baby, marriage and then to have a funeral. Many think of the Church as something to go to and sit and pray. Then others will go to a service one hour and assume that is their duty for the week. To many the church is a stand by, if I need it. I am sure people treat it as like a spare tire on a car. It is available but only when I need it. People don’t realize that the Church is so important that Jesus died for it Ephesians 5:25 “… Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it” Paul started and established local Churches wherever he went. Read the book of Acts and see the first Church on the day of Pentecost in Chapter 2 was Jerusalem. The 2nd Church was Antioch started and grounded in doctrine in Acts 11. The Church at Philippi was started in Acts 16. Read the Epistle of Philippian and see what they were taught and many things about this local Church. Acts 17 tells of the Church at Thessalonica. Chapter 18 of Acts Paul has started the Church at Corinth. God will use this organization to teach about Salvation. Then baptise them and then teach doctrine to ground and settle them in the teachings of the Bible. Read the Great Commission or the last command given by Jesus in Matthew 28:19 “GO ye therefore, and teach (Salvation) all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” Vs. 20 “teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you” Jesus Christ died for the people and the local Church must go out and reach them. Are you sure you would go to Heaven.
