Healthy Coffee

There are many things you can do to make your coffee healthier. Overall, caffeine has been found to be beneficial, but here are some healthy tips. Be careful about the sugar. Excess sugar is linked to diabetes and obesity.

Cut down your coffee after 3 p.m. so that you can sleep soundly at night. And be careful how much you drink during the day — you can get heart palpitations or be nervous and irritable if you drink too much.

Some people say that a paper filter along with a quality organic brand of coffee will cut down on pesticides and something called cafestol, which is linked to cholesterol.

Take a look at the ingredients in your artificial creamers and be sure you feel comfortable with what you’re putting into your body.

I added apple cider vinegar into my coffee and everybody said i ruined my coffee…. but i did it anyway for a month thinking that maybe there was some health benefits. ( my philosophy is to try a healthy idea for two weeks or a month, but after vitamin or whatever hasn’t done anything by that time i begin to doubt it)

On the fun side try some cinnamon which is supposed to be very healthy or some chocolate or some milk to make your coffee more interesting . For myself i avoid the instant coffee and utilize the French Press.

Lastly, freshly grind your coffee beans yourself or use the grinders at the larger stores for extra flavor!
