The United States (US) Embassy in Manila
through the US Agency for International
Development (USAID) delivered relief supplies to Zamboanga City as it condemns the bombing in Zamboanga City.
In a statement from the US Embassy, essential supplies were transported to assist the evacuees affected by the clashes between the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) and government military forces. The first batch of relief goods consisting of blankets, sleeping pads, toiletries, baby diapers, bottled water and sardines have already been delivered last Sept. 13. The USAID will also install latrines or portable toilets and water tanks in the area to help provide evacuees with access to clean water. (by Jennifer C. Tilos)
