Sorry, but I dont’ agree that just because Gibo served the public well under the hated administration, that he is as corrupt as the president herself. Noynoy is simply the most incompetent candidate and without any track record to back up his claims that he is not corrupt. You say Noynoy has not been charged with corruption, and neither is Gibo. Noynoy has not been charged but what about BSA, kamag-anak inc.? Hacienda Luisita controvery, and slacking off as senator and congressman, milked the country for his living expenses, but has not passed a single law. Do you think the electorate can be duped to vote for such a loser politician?

The race is still wide open, we are not believing these bogus surveys, sorry, it is now the 21st century and the internet is revolutionizing our political system, the youth will speak louder this coming election, and their choice for president will not be as bigoted and short-sighted as the ideas you put forward here.

You are swaying the voters to choose between the devil and the deep blue sea where there is a green beautiful island out there.

These prepaid survey don’t mean nothing to us and we are determined to disprove these surveys. The nearer the election, the more aware the voters become. And the more aware the voters are, the more they want to find the truth, and the truth is Gibo is the most competent.

Youth groups are still in the process of convincing people. I myself have convinced 10 noynoy/villar supporters.

do read what your holier-than-thou ninoy aquino has said and tell me if u don’t find it too assuming.

and as for the age-old issue with gibo and his association with GMA, let me quote something from a fansite then: “Jesus was with Judas for more 3 years, does it mean Jesus equals Judas? This only needs minimal common sense to arrive at the right conclusion. Sad to say, many people still don’t get it.”

poll survey takers are paid- plain and simple!

why would someone or a group spend a lot of money sending people around to ask who their presidential bet is? why would someone waste time extrapolating things out of these surveys/questions if not for the money they are paid for?

what keeps SWS and False Asia to keep on taking surveys if they are not paid?

and when you pay someone, would you want to be the least voted upon? you want to be #1, at least in your paid surveys!

so every one out there, vote for the right person! think of what miriam quiamco said!

I agree with you mr.yap.. indeed the elections on may 10 will just be a three cornered fight between noynoy, villar and erap only.. in these 3 presidentiables, si noynoy lang ang karapat-dapat na maging presidente.. kung sinasabi ng iba na si noynoy imcompetent, widen your horizons please, do some real and reliable researches.. Gibo is a good choice but noynoy is the best choice.. kahit baliktarin natin ang mundo, hindi pa rin maikakaila na nasa poder pa rin si gibo ng GAHAMANG presidente.. kung talagang MAGALING AT TALINO si GIBO at kung talagang may prinsipyo sya, bumuo sana siya ng bagong partido na hindi konektado sa KORAP na pangulo.. kung yun ang ginawa nya, malamang sa kanya sana ang boto ko.. sabi nga nila, VOTES NOT FOR NOYNOY WILL BE VOTES FOR VILLAR..

Well written post and I also enjoin you in believing in Noynoy. It’s true that Noynoy has not much track record but the fact - and I believe this to be true - that he has no proven record of corruption is enough consolation for me in knowing that my vote will not go wasted. I believe that Noynoy will come out the most competent of all. We don’t need too many diplomas, what we need is common sense, honesty, and excellent mentors in the person of his parents. The Hacienda Luisita controversy is not Noynoy’s doing but the C5 controversy is Villar’s own. See the difference. Noynoy indeed is Mr. Clean in Phiippine Politics. I salute Noynoy!

here’s a quote in toto of an article in the Philippines Star;

SamAbby wrote:
Listen, people: If the following information is true about Pulse Asia, then its poll survey results for the May 10 elections are utterly questionable and may not be worth the paper they are written on in terms of fairness and accuracy: “Rafael C. Lopa, a first cousin of Sen. Benigno Aquino III, is the former head of Pulse Asia, Inc. as President and CEO. The owner of Pulse Asia, Rafael Lopa supposedly divested himself from the company in September 2009 and had himself nominally replaced by Prof. Ronald D. Holmes of the La Salle University System when Sen. Benigno Aquino III announced his presidential candidacy. Rafael Lopa is currently the Executive Director of the Benigno S. Aquino, Jr. Foundation and former Executive Assistant to the late President Corazon C. Aquino. He sits as a trustee in various foundations and was formerly a board member of the Philippine Center for NGO Certification (PCNC).”
Need anything more be said about the strong and shameless conflict of interest in Pulse Asia’s surveys for the May 10 national elections?

I think the people should not waste their time to vote at all. None of these politicians have done anything worthy of notice. All of them are worthless, short sighted, and useless.

It is amazing for a columnist like you to put on your two cents that cannot be backed with hard evidences nor logical reasons. Much worse your ill remarks show the kind of person you are. I rest my case.

I don’t believe with your fearless prediction mr.yap coz election is not yet over, i really pity to those presidentiables whom you said have no chance of winning….it’s really unfair for them.

I do believe then that the voters vote will not be wasted this coming election because they will vote the candidates whom they believe they can trust and help the country as a whole.

Hi Miriam,

Sakto jud si Atty. Yap. Don’t waste your vote for Gibo who has no chance of winning. I’d even make a bet with you.

I’ll pay you 10 pesos/1 peso you bet for Gibo winning the presidency and vice-versa for Noynoy winning the presidency.

Rather than wasting our saliva spinning crap for our respective candidates, let’s make the deal (I bet 1,000.00 pesos for Noynoy winning the presidency) and meet after the election at Chin Loong to collect the money of whoever wins.

This is a better challenge for people like you and me.

What do you say?

Kung dadayain si noynoy ay okey lang sa akin.PEOPLE POWER na lang sila.SWS AND PULSE ASIA WILL LOSE THEIR CREDIBILITIES after this election. Dinadaya rin naman nila results.IN reality, dapat walang election sa ano mang bansa. because malamang na popular choice is not the right choice. what your kids want is not always what your kids need.
