Perceived election violence is sought to be avoided if not aborted by the big political rival groups in the first district even as the Macias- Limkaichong alliance and the Baldado-Paras conduit are hoping to neutralize the resurgence of armed partisans now being monitored in northern Negros Oriental. The first district has had a violent election history, most recently in the March 2007 Manluminsag ambush in La Libertad with scores of people injured and killed.
Lt. Col. Ramil Bitong of the 11th Infantry Lapu-Lapu Battalion confirms the presence of armed partisans in the hinterland barangays of the first district after he received three reports from residents and barangays officials affected.
These armed men are reportedly operating in the remote barangays near the border of Oriental and Occidental Negros. Last week, Rep. Jocelyn Limkaichong bared the presence of armed men who would allegedly enter the residences of her supporters and harass them.
Reached for comment, former Rep. Jacinto “Jing” Paras, Limkaichong’s challenger, has called upon Limkaichong’s camp to substantiate the claims and for the police and the military to arrest the armed men to foil any attempt to spread violence during the elections.
“If there are indeed harassments in the hinterland barangays, I join Limkaichong in condemning these abuses as I also call upon the people to promptly report to the authorities the presence of these armed partisans and thwart their vile plans so we can truly have fair, credible and peaceful elections,” stressed Paras.

Are we looking at a meeting of local provincial politicians or at a plenum of communist officials? The picture clearly shows a group of people looking like aging Communist leaders. They all looked like Chinese nationals rather than Filipino politicians.
It seems funny but it is not! You start visualizing what these people are doing and you will notice that we are almost not unlike communist China. The same as in China, we don’t have any real choice of leaders, we just keep on recycling useless and worthless politicians as if they are that indispensable.
At least in China, if you make a mistake, politician or not, you go to jail or worse get shot. Unlike here, our politicians instead go abroad, enjoying his loot. You seldom see a corrupt politician punished for his misdeeds.
What do we have here in the picture? We have Macias who is useless as a bat yet to our chagrin is always being elected. Actually, I’m doubting his winning streak as I’m beginning to see a pattern of this mysterious brown-outs. This usually occurs during the tallying of elections returns whenever he is trailing his opponents.
This also happened when Perdices was trailing during the counting of votes. There was a brown-out and suddenly after he was mysteriously leading in the new votes that were counted. Is there a connection to these brown-outs to a sudden surge of votes from a trailing candidate?
Going back to the picture, we have Jocelyn Limkaichong, Dodoy Tuanda, Lawrence Limkaichong, Rudy Martinez and Ernesto Reyes. They are all bonehead and are all useless.
We have Jocelyn who in the past years spend most her time defending her position in court rather than working as the representative of the people. Her opponent, the Paras is a sore arrogant loser. He is also as useless as a blind barangay tanod inside a 3D movie house!
Then we have Tuanda, well this man would have been a good mayor if he only spent some of his time inside his municipal hall instead of going to a sabung. In fact, he has more derby attendance compared to his attendance inside his municipal office.
Lawrence Limkaichong, Rudy Martinez and Ernesto Reyes. These three are just wall papers, you sometimes see them and sometimes you don’t. It is only when you take a look that you will notice that there’s a fly resting on a stained spot in the wall. That’s how useless these three are, they’re not pesky fly nor a stubborn stain, but they are only just that, a damn paper.
Hell, a toilet paper is even useful, at least you can use it to wipe your butt. You try wiping your butt with a wall paper and you’ll realize how useless they are for your purpose.
Not with these three but the wall paper, I mean.

During sa last campaign period, ako nagtoo nga kung maka daog si Limkaichong, dako ang mahimong kaosaban sa first district pro lahi man ang nahitabo nga kaosaban…kaosaban nga daghang projects pro ang constructor, Double L construction, in which known na kaayo nga ang tinuod nga tag iya niini sila si Limkaichiong.Gibutangan lang ung dummy nga owner. Hisos ko, maka olaw kaayo ug dako nga ang milyonaryo nga insik mopungko pagka politiko para mas maka income ang ilang negosyo ug dili para tinud anay nga sirbisyo. Tinuod man nga nagsirbisyo sab sya sa katawhan pro sa likod , daghang mga hidden agenda.
Otro pod ang current nga gobernador nato..walay nahimo nga solutions sa sunod sunod nga crime incidents ug pagkusog nga illegal gambling sa probinsya.
Sa mga sturya, ang illegal gambling sa probinsya kini protected ug mga politiko ug sa mga police labi na sa mga chief of police. Sila nagdawat ug bahin gikan sa mga operators sa illegal gambling. Ang ilang dakop, di na tinud anay. Sinabot lang na para lang naay mahatag nga report sila kunohay sa region…
Arnel, I can feel your bitterness towards these politicians. You know, there are no clean politicians. But, at least, Josy has done something a lot better than the Parases (Jerry and Jing combined)did for less than three years. The Parases held the reign for 18 years combined and accomplished nothing. So, why not just set aside your bitterness for the meantime and vote for the lesser evil?
