February: Arts Month

The country focuses on the promotion and awareness of culture and the arts this month of February.

This month of February, be treated to arts and culture with Kisaw 2010: Magmugna ta!, a month-long celebration of National Arts Month with the theme Handu-Lantaw: Pagdugtong sa Handumanan sa Pagpanglantaw sa Unahan.

KISAW Mag-mugna ta! is a volunteer initiative of artists and cultural workers in Dumaguete City to celebrate National Arts Month.

Everyone is invited to join the colorful and exciting Opening Parade today, February 7, at 4 PM followed by Tayada sa Plaza featuring the talents of St. Louis Don Bosco School. Participating schools include Silliman University, COSCA, Foundation University, Holy Cross High School, Dumaguete Science High School, ABC Learning Center, Catherina Cittadini School and many more.

Kisaw 2010 is supported by the Dumaguete City government, the Dumaguete City Tourism Office, Sky Cable, and the Bayawan City CF! Bayanihan Technical Working Group, and organized by the Youth Advocates Through Theater Arts.
