He’s not about to take a giant leap of faith from Lakas-Kampi-CMD to the Nacionalista party where his running mate Vice-Gov Jose “Petit” Baldado now belongs.
Dumaguete City Mayor Agustin Perdices, who is gunning for the vice-gubernatorial seat, expressed his strong desire to remain with the administration party, whose standard bearer is Defense Secretary Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro, even if his running mate, Baldado, has months ago joined the camp of presidentiable Manny Villar.
The outgoing city mayor explains that he does not want to lose the support of 3rd District Rep. Pryde Henry Teves and 1st District Rep. Jocelyn LImkaichong both members of the administration party.
Villar has tried to woo the influential Teves political clan and other local officials of the province to join his party but has remained unsuccessful to this day. Perdices is most likely to face either Bayawan City Mayor German Sarana, who may yield to the constant cajole of the incumbent governor to be his running mate or Board Member Mariant Escano Villegas.

This coming elections is a big political mess, but at least, and I hope there will be one. What I am afraid of is Gloria doing a Ferdinand Marcos or some other politician doing a Honasan! We cant come home for a visit then.
