De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde defeated the Central Philippines University (1-0) during their football match at the SU ballfield yesterday. In other Saturday matches, Silliman University lost to Far Eastern University in a lopsided duel (3-0) while West Negros College also routed De La Salle Manila (5-0). Meanwhile, the UP Maroons also yielded to University of Saint La Salle (1-2). Last Friday, the University of Santo Tomas broke the heart of host Foundation University in a 3-1 victory over the latter.
